Could it be that being grateful is the ultimate leverage of life?
Think about it.
You’re working very hard, very very hard, and sometimes the results just don’t seem to show up as fast as you’d like or want them to.
Could it be that feeling thankful for what you already have frees the energy flow for good things to happen?
Just being thankful may not be the thing to have everything you’ve ever wanted show up automatically (it’s usually doesn’t).
When I’m feeling the blessings in my life more good stuff happens and the bad stuff doesn’t seem to matter as much.
When good stuff outweighs the bad, that’s leverage.
To create leverage, do this Action Step today.
Identify 5 things that you’re grateful for right now and write them down in a journal or pad that you can use again.
Next, on the following day write down 5 more things that you’re thankful for (not the same ones)
On each subsequent day write 5 more new things.
Do this for at least 5 days in a row.
How do you feel?
When I started this assignment I got real moved about day 4 because of all the blessings.
In winter it’s a warm cozy bed.
