Stretch Yourself

“I am always doing that which I cannot do,
in order that I may learn how to do it.”
— Pablo Picasso

What are you going to learn to do today?

Are you willing to stretch yourself — again?

Learning how to do things is an ongoing, lifelong process. If you stop you shrink.

I’ve been learning about wine for years now. And just when I think I really know something about making and tasting it I learn something new and I start all over again.

This is not a bad process. It’s actually quite enjoyable as you might imagine. But if I get stuck just tasting the same old wines I get bored. So, I must reach out again and try a new one or two.

Then when I return to my old favorites they may be more delicious or just an old friend.

Either way I cannot loose. And you can’t either when you try something new.

Action Step: Try something new today. What did you learn?
