Love and Kindness or Not

“Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”

— Barbara de Angelis

As I began to write about this quote I got stuck. The quote seemed to speak for itself.

When I’m stuck I usually go a little deeper into the subject to unlock its secrets.

This time I went to the dictionary looking for a definition of waste and here’s what I found:

waste: fail to make full or good use of, to use or expend carelessly,

extravagantly, or to no purpose.

Being a practical person, this definition of waste appealed to me and confirmed my thoughts on its meaning.

Directly below the definition was an antonym for waste:

conserve: protect from harm or destruction.

Bingo!

Often the real answer to a problem appears when you look on the other side of it.

To make a difference every day do this Action Step.

Action Step:

Notice when you hold back your love and kindness.

How does it feel?

How does it feel when you give love and kindness?
